| The skyline of downtown New Orleans looms overhead as KCS train #53, the transfer run to the CSX, prepares to leave the KCS yard on its way to the New Orleans Public Belt Railway's Cotton Warehouse Yard and ultimately to CSX's Gentilly Yard. The little white car by the locomotive is a KCS car used by yard crews to get around the train. When the return trip of this train enters the yard, the conductor gets off at the car and drives the car to the nothern end of the yard. |
