| In order to reduce noise emissions caused by trains the Federal Office of Transport (BAV) started a noise reduction campaign and installed 6 measuring systems in Switzerland. Day and night these microphones are measuring number of axles, speed, length and the noise emission of the trains on this line. This microphone in Kemptthal is part of the monitoring. |
