Recent postings of Portuguese steam prompted me to dig out this shot of locos grouped around the dual-gauge turntable at Regua, showing off their gleaming brass plates, lamps and smokebox door handles. Behind the 2-8-0 freight loco are three of the magnificent inside-cylindered 4-6-0 passenger locos (50% of the class, lined up in numerical order!) and a metre-gauge Mallet tank.
