60009 Union of South Africa in Bridgnorth shed yard on the Severn Valley Railway. This view shows the corridor tender. This was originally used for the crew to pass between the footplate and the carriages to enable a crew change without stopping on long non-stop runs. Eliminating the crew-change stop resulted in a faster start to stop time.
