Remarks & Notes
We reached North Stratford and were happy to discover Canadian National Northern 6218 just ready to head south toward Berlin, New Hampshire on the Grand Trunk Railway. This was the second 6218 trip in New England during 1966. The weather the scenery and the railroad all came together at the right time. This shot even wows non railfans at photography shows. My friend ken was with me on his journey. We both discovered a whole aspect to railfanning. Photographers in their vehicles would break all driving rules just to get ahead of the train to get the prize winning shot.
