| Open observation car "Lookout Mountain" brings up the rear of an excursion train being powered by the Royal Hudson. Judging from that NC state flag, I am guessing the train is headed back to Greensboro. Lynchburg used to be excursion train heaven back in the days. Trains would come to Lynchburg from all four directions to be turned on the wyes at Montview and Kinney yards. |
