This quintessential railroad station contained an operator's tower, a baggage and passenger waiting room, subdivision offices, upstairs living quarters and an outstanding train order board. If you worked at the station you could park your car under the platform overhang. Every C&O employee who worked here in the 60’s was West Virginia Friendly.
