| Cracked axles.... As of February, 2008, both of Nevada Northern's steam locos are sidelined with condemning cracks in their driver axles. Here, we see Consolidation #93 sitting on the Machine Shop pit with one axle completely removed. The railroad is currently concentrating on #93 and is evaluating repair options. |
