Remarks & Notes

The word "massive" falls short of describing the New River Gorge. Over 1/4 mile deep, a half mile wide, and nearly 40 miles long. 1400 feet below, 7 units and 86 sulphur tanks head west towards Quinnimont. The New River is still up and angry due to the heavy rains in the area.
