Remarks & Notes

The only 4-6-4 tender locomotive to run in Great Britain, Gresley LNER three-cylinder 4-6-4 No 10000 reverses out of Kings Cross after arriving from Doncaster in 1938. It was rebuilt from a high-pressure 4-cyl compound in 1937. The empty 'West Riding Limited' streamlined train stands to the right with an 'N2' 0-6-2T.
