The daily B&P road freight rolls by the classic BR&P station at Springville NY on its way south. The station was built in the late 1800's and looks virtually the same as when built. The consist is a mix of ex Kyle, ex Allegheny, G&W, ex. Kyle units. Lead GP40 # 3106 is ex NYC,PC,CR # 3080 and ex Kyle # 3106, blt. 10-67. After looking at the condition of the track in this photo it becomes obvious why these trains were moved to the ex. PRR Buffalo Line and this line is now quiet. NZ is the old telegraph call for Butler, PA.
