Remarks & Notes
The largest steam locomotive in Massachusetts. This 70-ton Alco 0-6-0 was built in 1911 and spent nearly all of its career on the Boston & Maine Railroad. Today, she sits in front of the Visitor Center at the Lowell National Historical Park, coupled with a combination car. To the left, are ex-Boston & Maine tracks, now used by the Park Service Trolleys.
