Remarks & Notes 
The SP's sixteen Fairbanks-Morse "Train Masters" brought an end to steam power on the SP Peninsula commute in January of 1957. Still going strong in May of 1972, #3025 races North with late afternoon Train #153. Three years later, the big opposed piston engines would be retired and scrapped.
