Westbound on the original Central Pacific right of way, Amtrak #341 is leading the Zephyr over what has become known as "Streamliner Curve" the location of the stranded City of SF in 1952. The track leading into the tunnel was built in the early part of the 20th Century. The track occupied by #5 has since been removed,
