| By the early '80's, locomotives still in C&O paint were not unknown, but were becoming uncommon. This GP9, the last one of an order built in August 1957 (6239-6263) was nearing the end of it's service life. Note the wooden wedges under the wheels - possibly to keep it from "creeping"? |
