| On a very damp and dismal holiday Sunday, 45407 is the centre of attention at Altrincham, having just arrived from Crewe with the first of that day's steam runs. The steam working is organised on an occasional (approx every 2 years) basis to help promote this railway. 45407 will spend the day shuttling between Altrincham and Chester through the heart of Cheshire, calling at all stations and giving many families a rare train trip. |
