| An old shot from 1980. A Class 47 zooms through Park Station, East Manchester with a Liverpool to York service. The slide, shot on Kodachrome 64, doesn't seem too bad for 28 years old. The scene has all changed now. The station is closed, the semaphore signals have gone and the service is now operated by DMUs from Manchester Piccadilly and avoids this route. |
