| "Board" crackles over the radio. The extraordinarily long, flawless Southern Crescent is OK to go. Two blasts from chime horn makes kids block their ears. Four polished gold and green E units rev up. In no time the varnish disappears from sight and makes me yearn to go to New Orleans. |
