Remarks & Notes
77's Connection (KCS's hotshot southbound) pounds across RI's diamond behind 613-626-659. The SD40-2 is fairly new. Each railroad's main was about as bad as they could get--ballasted with mud, wheat, and johnson grass. Each has been rebuilt, but the RI is abondoned.

KCS before the Belle

Album created by member Daniel Holmes

While Kansas City Southern's modern 'Southern Belle' scheme might be the most striking modern Class I scheme, the grey, white, and even Deramus red paint of KCS in the 1970s-1990s has an allure of its own. This album showcases vintage KCS from the GP30/SD
