| MSR&LHA and Cass Scenic Railroad staff look at Shay 6 in amazement that it is really in Elkins! Many logistical issues played against Shay 6 coming to Elkins...Would Shay 6 fit through the Kelly Mountain Tunnel? Would we have enough water to make it there? Is our coal supply sufficient? Will our crew go dead during the last minute of the trip? As you can see above, the dedication and work of the crew on all the organizations' part worked together, to make Shay 6's trip a success. |
