Looking RR east. This shot was taken after the 1965 Mississippi flood waters receded to the point where the tracks were usable again. Note the three switches that operators threw by hand. There was a fourth switch, out of view to the left and nearly opposite the switch stand visible in the distance, that the operators also threw that worked the turnout that connected the CMStP&P main to the lead to the industries on Salina Street. I believe those industries were served by both roads.
