Remarks & Notes
The Canal Street Wye gets heavy action. Outbound BNSF Line Metra on the left, inbound in the middle. On the right, the terminated Empire Builder backs around the wye to re-orient north, wash, and head to the service yard. On the left, the St. Charles Airline descends after passing over the Chicago River, and Amtrak/Metra. On the far left, the old B&OCT bascule bridge remains in its permanent upright position.
