High pressure cresting over New Hampshire brought clear skies over Mt. Washington for the Columbus Day weekend. Knowing this might be one of the last times that 5 steamers would operate in such conditions, I made a second trip to "The Rockpile" in a week's time and was not disappointed. In this photo, #3 "Agiocochook" pushes a pumpkin-colored, 70 passenger coach up the first grade at Cold Spring Hill.
