Remarks & Notes
Built in 1908, #565 is one of only two remaining steam engines rostered by the DL&W. It is the only steam locomotive at Steamtown that is on home rails. Hopes are to restore her cosmetically assuming all her parts can be found or fabricated. The history of #565 is unbelievable having tourist connections to the Black River and Western, the Morris County Central, New Hope and famed photographer, Don Ball who is responsible for getting her to Steamtown against all odds.
