| My first visit to the ex GN Mainline yielded cloudy skies, obscured mountains, snow squalls, and below zero temps....but lots of trains....so I'm not complaining. After chasing an eastbound from Browning to Cut Bank I followed this dog freight back west. This old historical marker just up a hill on the north side of US Hwy 2 offered this interesting photo opportunity. One wonders what Messrs. Lewis & Clark would think of these beasts that BNSF rolls across the land they "discovered" some two centuries ago. |
