| Temperature -3F, wind chill approx -20. Not "Minnesota cold," but the worst it's been in Chicago in years. Amtrak 51 is wye-ing to re-orient the train south/east. Unit 48 was in tow from DC for repairs. Unit 203 will return east on Train 50 , then back to Chicago on 51 for its mandatory checkup. Thanks B. Cornelius for the info. |
