The Spencer local pushes thru a decent drift near MP 163, just west of Sexton. With the train traveling 10 mph the snow begins to pile up on the front of the locomotive. This train was loaded at Hartley, IA, near MP 235, and has 88 loads bound for Chicago, IL.
An ongoing/growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome, but seldom seen beauty of railroads because most of us don't go out after sundown or before sunrise. From dusk to dawn, lights are on! (And I continue to find new "Lights In The Night"!)
