Western Pacific heritage unit #1983 pushes east, working as a DPU on this Los Angeles to Dupo, IL COFC train. The ILADU-18 began that morning at East Yard in Commerce, CA, and then came out on the Los Angeles Sub, passing through Puente, Pomona, and Riverside, before entering the BNSF San Bernardino Sub to the Cajon Sub, which it took to Colton, CA. At Colton Crossing, just a few miles west of here, it crossed over to home rails again, on the Union Pacific Yuma Sub.
