After calling for a Rule 564 (return to train), CN 421 has put their 9500' of train back together and slowly make their way to Hamilton. The conductor has cabbed over to Hamilton Yard only to find it "plugged." The accompanying trainmaster instructed them to set of the 1600' Hamilton set off at Parkdale, a few miles (geographically) east of Hamilton yard, but the crew pointed out that if they worked Parkdale, the 9500' of train would block several grade crossings. The Hamilton cut was eventually set off at Port Robinson, and would be brought back west on the next day's 422.
