| Locos. of the O4 class saw service in Europe during both World Wars, but in Britain are remembered mostly for their many years of freight haulage on the Great Central Railway, for which they were originally designed. It is fitting that the sole British survivor (more survive in Australia!) is based on the preserved Great Central Railway, where it is now in its last year of service before overhaul. 63601 leaves Loughborough with a short freight train. |
