| Rare sight at Strasburg. While setting up for the last trip of the day at Cherry Hill, AB2 and I noticed something rare about the siding at Groff's. With this being the first day of operation and only one train on the line, the spring switch-equipped siding is locked closed and has rusted over the winter months. During regular two-train operations, the switch is lined for the siding for eastbound trains to run around westbound trains stopped at Groff's Grove in the distance. |
