| This CSX B40-8 was built for Conrail in May 1988 as their 5081, then to NS 4811 after the Conrail merger. The former CR/NS B40-8s are now once again together on a common roster. Now serving CSX as their 5973 the unit is seen waiting to be picked up by A727 for a trip to the Tilford Service Center in Atlanta due to having dead batteries and it's water drained. This unit could not be used by the A008 as planned which is what the unit was slated for. |
