| Yet more details....the Nevada Northern simply overwhelms the senses. Deep in the heart of the engine house this ancient coal stove burns brightly providing a modicum of warmth on a frigid night. Note the D&RGW 1882 markings on the face of the door. Behind the stove can be seen a coal laden wheelbarrow and spade, and behind them the tender of NN #81, a 1917 Baldwin built 2-8-0 that hasn't steamed in half a century. |
