Pete Lerro's 261 charter last year. The beautiful matched consist of vintage passenger equipment was about as big an attraction as the beautiful 4-8-4. As an old timer, it is interesting how little details, or in this case missing details, catch my attention. Not only is the second main track missing, but what really jumps out at me is the lack of a code line along the tracks. Oh how we used to try to get those poles out of our pictures.....and now the images look a bit empty without them. But it was great having headend cars..... and at the headhend as the railroad gods intended.
