Two Southern Pacific units pose next to each other at Brightside Yard, home of the Niles Canyon Railway and GGRM. This was a night shoot put on by Vic Neves, producer of the popular railroad photography slideshow Winterail. While several photographers were on the other side of the steam locomotive ready for the flashbulbs, I decided to step aside and move to the other side of the steam locomotive and try something else.
An ongoing/growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome, but seldom seen beauty of railroads because most of us don't go out after sundown or before sunrise. From dusk to dawn, lights are on! (And I continue to find new "Lights In The Night"!)
