Remarks & Notes |
"Hogwarts Express" emerging from the mist. The actual loco used in the Harry Potter movies setting off from Toddington Station on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway at their 25th Anniversary Gala. Normally a resident at Carnforth this loco is a special guest at the Gala. The engine is actually ex-GWR 4-6-0 no. 5972 Olton Hall and was rescued from Barry scrapyard in the 1970s. It has been seen in every one of the Harry Potter movies and although not often seen in public, it's always a big draw. |
