| Sunny skies are a rarity in Whittier; in fact, it's said that the town is cloudy over 300 days in a normal year. We lucked into a beautiful afternoon on this spring day as we found the ARR Glacier Discovery Train idling at the Whittier depot in a postcard scene, dwarfed by the Carnival Spirit and snowcapped Chugach Mountains in the background. |
