It seemed like just a normal day for me as I went out to take pictures of Canadian Pacific's O Yard crew, as I often do so. The unique pictures you can capture of the O Yard are some you can't find anywhere on Canadian Pacific. Unfortunatly, little did I know that this was one of the last runs for the O Yard job and the two SW1200rsu's. Five days after this picture was taken the O Yard job was cancelled, and after 20+ years of 1237 and 1239 handling the O Yard responsibilities, they were brought back to the Port Coquitlam Yard. Now just the occasional road switcher comes to the O Yard to service customers. This does give me a chance to capture GP38's crossing into Richmond for probably the first time ever, but with the reduced service you have to wonder if even their days are numbered. As I mentioned before, this was just a normal day for the O Yard as they cross the Fraser River into Richmond for one of the last times...
