Union Pacific's Malad Local passes through the historic and former outlaw town of Corinne, Utah. When the transcontinental railroad was constructed in the late 1860's, this berg was known for it's many saloons and flop houses. This community is much quieter today with it's rowdy history all but a distant memory. At right, the cosmetically restored Central Pacific Corinne train depot greets the passage of the weekday train to Nucor Steel.
