| A Union Pacific worker keeps a close eye on the switches at Orange Street as the YRO52R remote switch job proceeds west on the Lynndyl Subdivision in Salt Lake City. Former D&RGW caboose #01503 today serves as a shoving platform for this urban local, complete with plenty of primer and graffiti. Unfortunately the caboose interior is inaccessible as the doors have been welded shut making entry into a bit of Rio Grande history impossible. |
