Remarks & Notes

The 2719 is historically significant to have hauled the Soo Line's last steam-powered train on June 21, 1959, a round-trip excursion between Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Today the 2719 runs fall excursions on the North Shore Scenic Railroad between Duluth and Two Harbors, MN.
