| Locomotive No 49 waits at Andrews House with a service train. It will pass under the bridge and go over the last remnant of the line down to Bowes Railway and the river Tyne at Jarrow. The green building is the new carriage shed and the older buildings are the main depot for the collection of locomotives on this railway. Last count there were somewhere in the region of 60, the majority were steam. |
