In operation just over a month, North Shore Railroad's first motive power was of ATSF heritage. Seen here, no. 2444 picks up a Southern Railway boxcar at Mohawk Flush Doors, Inc. CF7 no. 2429 was in storage on the siding ahead of the boxcar, so to get the boxcar, it had to be moved too.
