One from the Other Side of the Tracks - Seems most photographers at the train station in Fullerton California tend to stay on the Northwest side near Santa Fe Avenue when taking railroad pictures. However, on this Friday evening in August, I like the proverbial chicken who crossed the road, decided to cross the pedestrian bridge to see what photo opportunities were to be had on the other side. Here, Amtrak Train #590 pulls away from the platform enroute to San Diego California, and off to the left on the other side of the tracks, the location of one of the usual Friday night railfan gathering spots is evidenced by the group of people standing under the overhang looking intently at the train.
