This scene took eight people to pull off - two CSRR employees posing with lanterns, three more in the cabs to work the headlights, two railfans with Lumedyne units, and one to coordinate everybody. The result of their efforts was 50 or so photographers getting the shot, and one curious North Conway resident coming over to check out the "lightning strikes" on a clear, rainless night.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
