Pity the young railfan who will never experienced a diesel enginehouse before all those pesky environmental regulations took hold. Tideflats Yard reeked of oil and with a wonderful combination of 1st and 2nd generation locomotives from both builders was quite an experience for a young lad. Lost a good pair of sneakers that day….
