2124 is 63 years old and contemplating yet another autumn in Scranton. Back on June 6, 1961 however, when she was only 15, 2142 was the first living, breathing steam locomotive I had ever seen. She blew her Reading 6 chime whistle and it's been love ever since. Silent for 43 years and 2 days, may she once again delight young and old in a career that flamed only in afterlife.
