Train Collision!!!! With so much rail activity in the region it becomes necessary to prepare for a rail disaster. Amtrak in cooperation with the local Fire, Police, EMS, and other agencies have staged a train & vehicle collision at the Buckingham Branch’s rail yard in Doswell, VA. Many groups will study this scene over the next several days to learn more about how to respond to and better manage this type of emergency and potential mass casualty disaster. This Amtrak #13 locomotive has been pushed into the SUV as evidenced by the dirt and gravel scooped by the SUV’s wheels. In the background sits Squash-A-Penny Junction, an antique store favored by many.
