| Winter has arrived! The season's first snow covers the whole world on a beautiful morning in the Cascades. The early Z is departing Scenic after meeting a westbound stack train; just a few car-lengths ahead lies the west portal of Cascade Tunnel. Contrary to what the Seattle-bound crew told the Z to expect, they did not come across the long stack train's "missing" DPU parked between Bays 11 and 12 in the tunnel. |
