Remarks & Notes 
In 2005 and 2006 the cog railway operated a ski train part way up Mt. Washington. Skiers would ride the cog up to Waumbek tank (about 1/3 the way up the mountain), then ski down beside the tracks. For me this was a great way to combine two of my hobbies perfectly. It was great being able to ski right next to a flailing steam locomotive backing down the mountain. Unfortunately it must not have made money and the ski trains didn't return after the 2006 season.
